Why we love hiking at Caillet?

  • With its breathtaking view of the Aiguilles Rouges, Crèmerie Caillet is a must-see in Chamonix, at 1590 m altitude.

  • A colorful bar steeped in history. On the historic muleteers' trail, Joséphine Bonaparte and Victor Hugo settled here!

  • Continuous service from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (evening meal by reservation).

What's for dinner?

  • Tapas, platters, tarts... if you're passing through.
On reservation: BBQ on fine-weather weekends (vegetarian and vegan options available on request).

  • Everything is cooked in a wood-fired oven or a la plancha. You'll love the lemon meringue tart, the wood-fired tartiflette at sunset, the savory tart buffet or the brioche.

  • You'll love the lemon meringue tart, the wood-fired tartiflette at sunset, the savory tart buffet or the brioche. All homemade and delicious!

A visit to the Caillet mountain snack bar means following in the footsteps of the valley's pioneers.

Between
Chamonix and Montenvers, this crèmerie will delight you with its exceptional views and delicious menu. I'd even go so far as to say that a lemon tart has a shelf life of 1 hour from the moment it comes out of the oven...

How can you not marvel at the sunset, the scent of the BBQ titillating you, the calm of the forest winning you over, your eyes riveted on the
Aiguilles Rouges?

On the terrace, under the stars or by the fire, come and discover the Caillet experience.
An easy hike for an unspeakable reward.
